Louise
Hey Guys,
Louise has asked if i could pop a post up informing you guys of her current situation for which she is feeling bad about - but i told her we'd have no problem with - so im sure she has our support and understanding...
She is feeling bad that she hasnt been able to contribute towards finding a brief mainly due to the fact she doesnt have internet access at the moment but also due to some tough personal reasons which include her persistant chronic headaches.
Anyway - we dont seem to have to panic that much as we have sent out a wide variety of emails and already sam has had a response yes, which is fantastic!!
Besides we all know how much effort lou puts in when she gets going! so september will be good!

Company Name
Hi ya guys!
Just been thinking bout the group name and I think that we need to make a decision as it is now getting late to send out the letters to potential clients. I am making a executive decision and sending the letters out with the name "Undecided" as I think that we are emphasising too much on the group name rather than finding the best brief that we can before we start back at uni on September 17th & the name can be changed to the proper one before we start working on the brief. I'm thinking of aiming at manufacturing companies (electrical & fashion) & design groups. Does anybody have suggestions on what the cover email should include or even the look of it? Thought it could be good to design the email so that it catches their attention.

I'm happy with how this logo works, like it most from the one's that i've made. I haven't heard from you so can't really say anything yet. I'm off tomorrow I'll talk to you in about one week's time, nik.
ps
on the letter to client it says that we need to source a brief from one of the following :
advertising company
broadcasting company
design group
manufacturing company
marketing company
new media company
national retailer
printing trade company
publisher
charities are not on the list and it is a bit weird because all companies are associated with graphic design somehow. are we not supposed to act as a design group ourselves or should ask briefs from relevant companies so we can ask them for advice (in management) as well?
I would also think appropriate to send the letter to all the companies that have participated before, ther eis a list on the letter. they might have good experience and want to do it again.
