sorry i deleted it be mistake

i don't get it, are we not supposed to end up with a specific letter and send it to everyone? what kind of a team are we? of course i'm waiting for your confirmation and that should everyone be doing i think. i said "i'm waiting for your feedback" in order to fix it if you like and have one letter to send away.
in uni's letter says that lippa pearce design took part on a previous year. contact details are the same for lippa pearce and pentagram because lippa pearce joined them. should i not send it at all?
it would be very interesting to see where other people will send their letters, to have an idea of. i would expect everyone to be using this blog more regularly and more efficiantly, for example you haven't answered yet whether we are going to use the logo or not. it will be bad same of the letters to have logo and some not. this is the reason for being late not because we were thinking about logos and names.

ps
"dear sirs" is adressed to everyone not only to men

I do not think that 'dear sirs' covers everyone, and besides from what i remember about the client brief we were meant to find out who we are writing to and then address the email accordingly.

Does anyone know what we are meant to be doing to get a brief? Besides sending out the letter given by uni to us?
I dont recall the tutors giving us any info on this before we broke up..

Like sam said - it doesnt really matter about havingan identity at this stage - it has proved hard to do this over the internet with everyone being so busy.

Sam - what did you write on your cover email? I think we need to submit a list like nik has to who we want to request a brief from and then write the same thing - also the letter we send out where we need to put our info on (3rd sheet i think?) needs to be adapted - if we break it up then stresses will be less - although it will be easier once we are all together.

i'm glad i hear your view char; starting today i have internet at home so its going to be easier to contact.

i think its going to be hard to write a proposal for every different client. i don't think we have so much time.

i understand that we have to send uni's pdf so they "officially" know whats going on and we also need to adress a letter as a team, us that we are going to do the work.

as for the "dear sirs" this is what i've learnt as academically preffered but you certainly know better.

I'm going to find more people emails and update the list, as long as we have a list its easy to send emails, there is no reason to panik,
i just think it's a shame because it would be much better to have concluded to an identity by now and not to have to think about it again.

anyway i'll be off again 16-19 and 25-29

that sounds cool nik - i was worried i may have offended you!! didnt want us to fall out before we started! :) but glad you're ok - i think we are pushing it for time, but as long as someone is sending out the emails before the end of this week then i think we'll be ok.

I now am back at epsom so i have time to dedicate to this project - so i will post tomorrow with thoughts etc, also i'll be seeing sam so two heads of the group together might be better than all of us talking like this - but think i wrote that in an earlier post -

I'll tell you what i'll do - post up any ideas and more people we can contact - but send out (via email) my perception of what we should send to clients so you can see what i mean rather than my describing it....

laters! x

i'm ready to send emails as long as we decide upon the text. I'll be off tommorrow though, so if you want me to send them this week it has to be desided today. i have anyway posted all my contacts, so everyone has access and you can possibly copy them and send them emails yourself if you like.

i didn't find anything offending in your posts, in contrast I'am the one who is too straight forward, just don't find a reason to be "politically correct" at the moment.

Cu, have a nice time with Sam

hey nik - dont worry about it - i can get the emails sent off if you're going away - i've got nothing to do over the next two days so i can send out as many as poss - will forward any emails i get in response to all the team - hope you have a nice time away!
